Gazebos for Athletics
Poptents have had a lot of experience in providing pop up gazebos for athletics clubs throughout the UK. Most of the athletic clubs we work with opt for the printed / branded gazebos as this promotes their club when they are on the road. It's always a good idea to opt for the heavy duty commercial gazebos when looking in to purchasing. The heavy duty gazebos last a lot longer than the ones with plastic or nylon joints and thin aluminium or steel. Opting for a Poptents heavy duty frame is an investment in a long term gazebo that will last- we build our gazebos for strength and durability!
The printing process we use for our gazebos is dye sublimation. This is a much higher quality print than heat pressing or screen printing. We print the foreground and background at once before stitching your gazebo into shape. This allows for any colour combination of gazebo and any design without limitation. Our fabric is 100% waterproof, UV resistant and fire retardant certified so is perfectly suitable for cooking under at athletic club barbecues for example.
Our stock coloured gazebos are also the same high quality 100% polyester. There is a 420D rating which adds weight, toughness and flexibility to the fabric. Sides are included with the stock pop up gazebos. These join via an industrial strength velcro strip on the top edge of the wall and on the inside of the roof. The walls will join together by a strong zip as well as by 3 velcro loops to each leg of frame. Providing a strong connection and keeping your team out of the elements between events.
With the various locations that your athletics team can possibly go throughout the year, depending on whether you are based on a track or on longer distances and cross country/ multiple disciplines. There can be various demands placed onto a pop up tent in order to keep it up and braced against the conditions. The demand is there for a strong gazebo to stay erected throughout the event and provide enough protection to keep you out of the elements for the entire day. A lot of the gazebos on the market are not fit for purpose. To be able to withstand adverse weather conditions you will need to look at the frame specification for a strong and durable option. The things to look out for are thick aluminium in the construction of the frame and reinforcements. These keep the bars of the legs and the roof straight and true and keep the legs and joints in the correct place. Metal joints are also a must in a strong gazebo. Metal joints absorb and prevent any lateral movement in the roof of the frame and supplement the reinforced bars in keeping the gazebo in a braced position.
Poptents range of heavy duty gazebos have 2mm thick aluminium, 40mm square legs with reinforcements and 30mm x 15mm roof bars which are also reinforced. With polished aluminium joints and a strong locking system Poptents pop up gazebos are strong enough to take the weight of 2-3 men hanging from the middle of the frame. Our pop up tents will certainly handle the harsh weather conditions that they are erected in throughout the athletics year.
